ABOUT

I began researching colleges in 2012 when my first child started in a private high school. I saw then how little information was passed along to parents and how much more individualized college counseling was needed. I became increasingly passionate about helping students in this search and began sharing information with other frustrated parents who didn’t have the time or resources to figure out this complex process.

Since then, I have officially toured over 139 colleges and universities and have attended countless college fairs, meeting numerous admission counselors. I have actively assisted a range of students including student-athletes, high school scholars, and students with learning differences in finding colleges with environments in which they can flourish. There are many choices, even for students with less-than-perfect transcripts. I help families consider the financial options that exist and assist them in pursuing aid. I have chosen to charge an hourly fee to keep this process affordable.

I have guided student-athletes through the NCAA eligibility process making sure their high school transcripts match what is needed at Division I, II, and III. Learning how to properly communicate with coaches and more fully understand the recruitment process is a very strong suit of mine. I have met with numerous coaches on behalf of my clients and have gleaned what actually works, and I have placed students in NCAA Division I, II, and III as well as NAIA.

Each year I take on a limited number of deserving pro bono students. My hope is to make this process less stressful and to educate parents and students about the myriad of options out there for all students. Please call me for a complimentary initial consultation.
